Trailer for “Monkey Man”: Dev Patel goes all John Wick and goes on the rampage

<p>The “Monkey Man” trailer, starring Dev Patel, has been dropped. “Monkey Man,” an action-packed vengeance story that also stars Sobhita Dhulipala and Sikandar Kher, who will both be making their Hollywood debuts, is Patel’s directorial debut.</p>

<p><strong>MONKEY MAN TRAILER AVAILABLE</strong><br />
The teaser for Dev Patel’s film “Moneky Man” is currently out. Not only does he play the protagonist in the movie, but he also wrote and directed it. Sikhandar Kher and Sobhita Dhulipala play important parts in the movie as well.</p>
<p>According to the official press release, “Patel plays Kid in ‘Monkey guy,’ a nameless young guy who struggles to make ends meet at an underground fight club where, night after night, he is pummeled mercilessly by more well-known fighters in exchange for cash. Kid finds a means to sneak into the city’s evil elite’s enclave after years of holding his anger within. His enigmatic scarred hands launch an explosive campaign of vengeance to get revenge on the individuals who stole everything from him as his childhood anguish boils over.</p>
<p><strong>Concerning “Monkey Man”</strong><br />
“An action thriller about one man’s quest for vengeance against the corrupt leaders who murdered his mother and continue to systemically victimize the poor and powerless,” reads the official notice about “Monkey Man.” The movie draws inspiration from the myth of Hanuman, a figure who embodies bravery and power.</p>
<p>Alongside Dev Patel, the movie also stars Makarand Deshpande, Adithi Kalkunte, Sikandar Kher, Pitobash, Vipin Sharma, Sobhita Dhulipala, Sharlto Copley, and Ashwini Kalsekar.</p>
<p>Producing Monkey Man are Dev Patel, Jomon Thomas, Ian Cooper, Win Rosenfeld, Oscar winner Jordan Peele, Erica Lee, Christine Haebler, and Anjay Nagpal. On April 5, it will be released in theaters.</p>
